Eid Mubarak from Embrace!

TaqabbalAllahu minna wa minkum.

On behalf of our beneficiaries, volunteers, and trustees, Embrace wishes you and your loved ones a joyful Eid filled with mercy, warmth, and blessings.

As we enter the greatest day of the year, Yawm al-Nahr, the peak of the sacred first ten days of Dhul Hijjah, and welcome the blessed day of Eid al-Adha, we pray that your good deeds have been accepted. May Allah accept your siyam, sacrifice, and sadaqah in these blessed ten days, and count you among those forgiven and freed from the Fire. Ameen.

The Day of Arafah was not just for those on Hajj, standing on its plains. It was a day of freedom from the Fire for every believer—wherever you are in the world. We pray your du’as were accepted, your sins forgiven, and your heart brought closer to Allah in these sacred moments of devotion.

Wherever you are in the world, as Arafah was for you, so too is Eid; a day of hope, gifted to you by your Lord, a day of celebration.

Thanks to your unwavering support, Muslims experiencing poverty, isolation and trauma, financial hardship have found relief, dignity and joy this Eid. By choosing to perform your Qurbani with Embrace, you have blessed those in need with meat — a rare and precious gift for so many in desperate circumstances on our doorstep.

Whilst we were not able to reach our Qurbani target, thanks to your generosity, we will be able to distribute 51 Qurbanis (expected to yield over 1000kg mutton) to 180 households across the UK—families who might otherwise have gone without on this day of celebration.

“We’re truly grateful to Embrace. Meat is very expensive. This will be our first time receiving Qurbani meat, and it will make a real difference for our family. The Qurbani will support us as a family throughout the coming days to have quality meals in sha’ Allah. Thank you for your kindness and support.”

We pray that Allah (SWT) accepts your Qurbani and rewards you and your family abundantly in this life and the hereafter. Ameen

Through your compassion and your giving, you’ve brought relief, dignity, and joy to those who needed it most. Your sacrifice has become a source of nourishment—not just for the body, but for the soul. Thank you for being part of this movement of mercy.

Beyond your Qurbani, your support has gifted dignity and hope to the Hajars of today – vulnerable women and children in desperate situations. You have fed the hungry, clothed and sheltered the needy, alleviated those burdened with debt, and empowered those in despair with hope for a brighter future. Thank you for being their ZamZam in their valleys of struggle.

We are particularly grateful to the 72 fundraisers who participated in our Race to Embrace Dhul Hijjah challenge, without whom none of this would be possible. Together with our donors, your efforts have helped us raise over £34,604 —allowing us to support additional families across the UK facing poverty, isolation, and trauma. May Allah make this a source of barakah in your life, a light in your grave, and Shade on the Day of Judgment. Ameen.

Please know every pound you have donated and raised will have a profound impact.

Thank you for being part of Embrace’s mission — for bringing light to those engulfed in darkness, and for building a legacy of compassion and kindness.

Let us remember the true spirit of Eid al-Adha—a time not only of festivity, but of sacrifice, submission and obedience. As Ibn Rajab said:

“Eid is not for the one who wears new clothes.
Eid is for the one whose obedience rises.”

May Allah grant us istiqamah beyond these ten days, and the tawfiq to carry the spirit of Dhul Hijjah into the months ahead.

JazaakumAllahu khaira ahsan al-jazaa’ for your sacrifice, your support, and your steadfast kindness.

We pray this Eid brings peace, relief, and joy to your hearts, and to those we serve together.

There is still time to make a difference.

Deadline for Qurbani orders – 1pm today.
