Eid Mubarak from Embrace

TaqabbalAllahu minna wa minkum. May Allah accept your good deeds and ours. Ameen.

From all of us at Embrace – our beneficiaries, volunteers, trustees, and wider community – we wish you and your loved ones a blessed and joyful Eid al-Adha filled with mercy, peace, and joy.

As we mark Yawm al-Nahr, the greatest day of the year and the pinnacle of the sacred first ten days of Dhul Hijjah, we pray that Allah accepts every prayer, every fast, every tear, every sacrifice, and every act of charity offered during these blessed days. May He accept from us all and count us among those forgiven and freed from the Fire. Ameen.

The Day of Arafah was not only a mercy for those standing upon its plains. It was a day of forgiveness and liberation for believers across the world – a day where hearts turned back to Allah in hope, humility, and longing. We pray your du’as were answered, your sins forgiven, and your hearts brought closer to Him.

And now comes Eid – a gift from Allah to His servants. A day of gratitude, celebration, and hope.

This Eid, your generosity has brought comfort and dignity to vulnerable Muslims across the UK facing poverty, isolation, displacement, trauma, and financial hardship.

Through your Qurbani, families who may otherwise have gone without have been able to receive fresh meat during the days of Eid – something many told us they rarely, if ever, have the opportunity to enjoy.

Although we did not complete our target of 148 Qurbanis for 577 households this year, your generous support means Embrace will still perform and distribute 96 Qurbanis – expected to yield between 1728-2112kg of meat – which we hope will provide for up to 345-422 households across the UK.

For many families, this support will extend far beyond Eid day itself.

“Subhan Allah this has brought tears to my eyes! Jazak Allah khayra once again. May Allah make all the people who work at the charity be admitted into jannah without reckoning. Ameen.”

We ask Allah to accept your Qurbani and reward you and your family abundantly in this life and the next. Ameen.

One of our beneficiaries shared this beautiful du’a for our donors:

“May Allah reward you abundantly, feed you from the fruits of Paradise, and give you to drink from the River of Paradise. May Allah have mercy on your parents, and grant you righteous and dutiful offspring, Ameen.”

If you would still like to contribute a sacrifice so that the remaining families who applied can receive meat this Eid then the deadline to order your Qurbani is 1pm today.

Your support has gone beyond providing food alone. It has restored dignity to struggling families, brought relief to those carrying heavy burdens, and reminded vulnerable people that they are not forgotten.

You have supported mothers raising children alone, families rebuilding after trauma, refugees navigating immense uncertainty, and individuals facing isolation and hardship behind closed doors.

You have become a source of hope in moments of despair.

We are also deeply grateful to the 64 fundraisers who took part in the Race to Embrace Dhul Hijjah Challenge. Your efforts raised over £37,300 to support vulnerable households across the UK.

May Allah place immense barakah in your wealth, your families, and your futures. May He make your generosity a light for you in this world and the next. Ameen.

Every donation. Every share. Every fundraiser. Every du’a. It all counted. It was all seen by Allah, recorded and weighed in your scale of good deeds.

Thank you for standing with Embrace and helping us bring mercy, dignity, and hope to those facing poverty and hardship on our doorstep.

As we celebrate Eid, we are reminded that the essence of Eid al-Adha lies not in outward appearances, but in sincerity, sacrifice, and obedience to Allah.

As Ibn Rajab (rh) beautifully said:

“Eid is not for the one who wears new clothes.
Eid is for the one whose obedience rises.”

May Allah grant us istiqamah beyond these blessed days and allow the spirit of Dhul Hijjah to continue shaping our hearts and actions in the months ahead.

JazaakumAllahu khaira ahsan al-jazaa’ for your sacrifice, generosity, and continued support.

May this Eid bring peace, healing, and joy to you and your loved ones — and to every family we serve together.

There is still time to make a difference. 52 Qurbanis are still urgently needed.

Hundreds of families may go without this Eid.

Qurbani order deadline: 1pm today.
