This spring, me and my daughter are taking part in Step Up for Our Sisters – Spring of Hope Walk, a gentle, reflective sisters-only walk created to bring relief, dignity, and hope to women and families across the UK who are struggling quietly behind closed doors.

As nature renews itself, too many sisters are still facing poverty, isolation, trauma, and uncertainty. Through this walk, we’re turning our steps into support — and inviting you to walk beside me by sponsoring my page.

This isn’t about distance or speed.
It’s about showing up.
For sisters who need to know they are not alone.

👣 Why we’re Walking

Right here in the UK, sisters and families supported by Embrace are living under immense pressure. Rising living costs, insecure housing, isolation, and trauma mean that for many women, life feels overwhelming — even invisible.

Spring may symbolise hope, but for too many sisters, hardship hasn’t lifted.

Women we support include:
