š This Summer I've signed up as a Champion for Children
As part of Embraceās Back 2 School Challenge, Iām aiming to raise Ā£500 to help vulnerable children walk tall into school this September.
For half a million children in the UK living in poverty, the start of a new school year brings stress, shame, and exclusion - not excitement. They face bullying, isolation, or even being sent home simply because their family can't afford the right uniform or basic supplies.
āWhoever clothes a believer will be clothed from the green silks of Paradise.ā (Tirmidhi)
š Meet Adam
Adamās dad is in prison. His mum is doing her best, but itās not enough to cover school costs. He walks through the school gates in torn shoes, a blazer two sizes too small, and a heart full of dread.
𧄠£380 could clothe him with confidence.
š Meet Sara
Sara fled war with her mother and now struggles with poverty in the UK. Her family receives just Ā£8 a week per child. She worries not about homework - but how sheāll get to school without a uniform or bag.
š Ā£50 could equip her with the tools to learn.
āWe are asylum seekers and not allowed to work. We live hand to mouth. We canāt afford school clothes.ā
š Your Donation Can Provide:
Ā£50 ā Packs their Bags with Dignity - Essential stationery & equipment
Ā£380 ā Clothes with Confidence - Average cost of Uniform for the year in the UK (uniform, shoes, bag, supplies)
Letās help children feel included, not ashamed.
9 children in every classroom live in poverty - through no fault of their own. Children from refugee families, single-parent households, or with a parent in prison face barriers no child should.
Your donation can restore hope and dignity.
Itās not just about clothes - itās about confidence, inclusion, and opportunity.
āWhoever relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, Allah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Resurrection.āĀ (Muslim)
š Please donate today and help me reach my target
Together, we can make sure no child is left behind this September.
Donāt let poverty be part of their school uniform.
Help them walk tall this term.
