TaqabbalAllahu minna wa minkum.
May Allah accept your siyam, your qiyam, your sadaqah, and every act of worship from this blessed month. Ameen.
On behalf of our beneficiaries, volunteers, and trustees, we pray that your Eid is filled with peace, joy, and the warmth of those you love.
As we look back on Ramadhan, we are deeply moved by what we have witnessed. Across the Ummah, hearts opened. Strangers gave selflessly. People sacrificed their time, their comfort, and their wealth — for His Sake alone.
And through you, Allah answered du’as.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever fulfils the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfil his needs. Whoever relieves a believer’s distress, Allah will relieve him from distress on the Day of Resurrection.” (Bukhari)
This month marks one year of Embrace.
In that short time, your generosity has allowed us to stand beside families who had nowhere else to turn—families facing poverty, isolation, and hardship, often in an unfamiliar land far from home or whilst experiencing the absence of their loved ones. Families making quiet du’a for relief… and finding it through you.
This Ramadhan, you have been the hand to wipe their tears and relieve their hardship.
This Ramadhan alone, you gave £254,531 – which will allow us to bring real, lasting relief to those who needed it most in the months ahead.
To our incredible fundraisers – especially those who took part in our second Race to Embrace Ramadhan challenge — thank you. Your dedication helped raise over £203,382, which will enable us to carry entire families through moments of desperation into stability and hope. This forms 81% of our total Ramadhan income. May Allah make it a proof and light for you on the Day of Judgement and a source of ease and relief for you in both worlds, ameen.
We are also deeply grateful to the mosques and communities who opened their doors to us this Ramadhan—allowing us to stand before their congregations, share the realities faced by families in our communities, and invite others to be part of this work. Your trust and hospitality helped connect hearts, raise awareness, and extend support to our neighbours who need it most.
This Ramadhan, you won’t have just relieved hardship.
Through the funds you gave, you will restore dignity.
You will heal hearts.
For too many, Eid is not always a day of joy. It can be a reminder of absence, of struggle, of silent pain.
And yet – through you – they felt seen.
May Allah make every pound you gave a source of light for you on the Day you need it most.
As you celebrate today, surrounded by your loved ones, take a moment to remember those who cannot.
Despite everything achieved, we reached only 25% of our target this Ramadhan. Hundreds of families are still waiting—still hoping—for even the most basic support.
“Eid is not for the one who wears new clothes. Eid is for the one whose obedience rises.” (Ibn Rajab)
The true essence of Eid is gratitude—expressed through continued obedience, continued giving, and continued care for others.
There is still time to bring joy to a child.
Still time to wipe the tears of a mother.
Still time to bring relief to a father.
Still time to answer a du’a.
Still time to change a life.
We ask Allah to accept from you, to place barakah in all that you have given, and to grant us all steadfastness beyond Ramadhan.
May He allow us to witness many more Ramadhans together, in service of those who need us most.
Eid Mubarak.
